UOVision's W1 HomeGuard WiFi 12MP Full HD will fulfil your domestic or business surveillance needs - and all for an affordable price.
The camera unit quickly sends high-resolution photos and video to an app on your smartphone and to a web portal called LinckEazi - a cloud service that is completely free. It easily connects to, for example, the workplace or the home's already existing WIFI network, and there are no additional network costs for the camera.
The camera can be used outdoors as well as indoors. LinckEazi quickly receives the images from your camera and provides a very good overview of the camera's settings, structuring the images in an optimal way no matter how many cameras you use. You have full access to the camera's images and video and can change any settings from LinckEazi wherever you are in the world.
Photo & Video Quality:
UOVision W1 HomeGuard WiFi delivers very high image quality regardless of whether it is day or night. The camera can be set in the following resolutions: 3MP, 5MP, 8MP, 10MP, 12MP. The camera can be set to take 1-10 pictures in succession during detection. The video quality is adjustable in three different resolutions, 1080P (Full HD) or 720P, and VGA, all three with sound recording. At night, the camera takes black and white pictures, this is so as not to scare animals or expose the camera to human detection. The camera is equipped with a newly developed IR flash, the High Power LED (Black IR), which gives a much smoother light flux than before with a range of about 18 meters. Adjustable in 2 different strengths.
W1 HomeGuard WiFi sends high-resolution images and video to APP and web portal. The camera can broadcast video in the following length and resolution: Full 1080HD 10 seconds, 720HD 15 seconds and WVGA 20 seconds even sound recording in all resolution settings.
Image and video are sent immediately after the camera has taken them. If for some reason you want to, you can limit the camera to only send a certain number of pictures per day, from 1 image/video to unlimited.
Together with the picture that comes you will get information about the date and time when the picture was taken, temperature, battery strength, moon phase and information about why the picture was taken - because the PIR/motion sensor triggered, it was a Time Lapse/time generated image or the image was requested via APP.
UOVision HomeGuard WiFi has a modern WiFi module that sends the pictures and video quickly even if the reception is weak. All pictures and videos are also saved on the camera's SD card.
Time Lapse, Hours and Movement:
These are very useful functions that optimize the monitoring of homes, gardens and workplaces, for example. UOVision is unique in that the cameras are able to combine all three functions simultaneously.
Time Lapse is a function that shoots at a certain set time interval. If you set the camera's Time-Lapse function to 8 hours, for example, the camera will take a picture/video every 8 hours regardless of whether there is motion or not in front of the camera. This is a very smart feature if you want to keep track of a heating thermostat indoors, check the camera's status or monitor a front entrance - the range of use is very wide. The function can of course be combined with both the PIR / motion sensor and timer functions.
The Timer setting allows you to decide which days and times the camera's motion sensor should be active. UOVision is unique in the market in that it has so-called 'weekly hours' that you can set 4 different times every weekday Monday-Sunday, a very good function when monitoring, for example, a workplace. Can be combined with the Time Lapse function.
Motion Sensor & Response Time:
UOVision HomeGuard WiFi has a very good sensor with a wide sensing range that is adapted to the camera's photo angle. The camera's motion sensor has long-range and sensitivity and can be set in 3 different modes: Low, Auto and High. HomeGuard WiFi reacts fantastically fast, only 0.6 seconds (on other models 0.9, 1.2 seconds).
The function can be combined with both Timer and Time-Lapse settings.
With the APP or web portal you can easily control / change the camera's settings.
We recommend using external power for the camera.
A small selection of the features that can be changed:
- Request the camera to take a picture or video and send it to you
- Switch between photo and video modes
- The strength of the flash
LinckEazi is a free service. The app downloads via Google Play (android) or App store (iOS). If you want to use the web portal then you can find it here: https://www.linckeazi.com
UOVision has easy-to-understand menus including image icons.
Built-in 2.4 "LCD color display with easy-to-navigate menu.
SD Memory Card:
SDHC cards must be used for the camera to work. The camera stores all the pictures and videos on the memory card.
If you want to avoid keeping numerous images and/or video, then you can empty the memory card using the "overwrite" function. This means that when the memory card is full, the camera automatically overwrites the oldest file (the function is selectable: on / off). The camera supports SDHC memory cards in sizes 2-32GB, 16GB or more are preferred.
The camera is powered by 6 volts and holds 12 AA batteries and has external power sockets. Because the camera is online against the network 24/7, we recommend using an external power source, either by using our 220v AC adapter or an external 6-volt battery (available as an accessory).
If you want to use AA batteries, we recommend lithium batteries because they do not lose capacity at freezing temperatures and have a longer life.
The camera can easily be mounted with the included strap on a tree or post, for example. A wall bracket is available as an accessory, with wall bracket so you can more easily angle the camera.
SDHC card (memory card) and batteries to get the camera to start.
External antenna where reception is poor.
- Strap for mounting
- 21 cm foldable wifi antenna
- 2 year warranty
New UOVision W1 HomeGuard WiFi 12MP FullHD is a camera that builds on the same basic concept as other UOVision models but is developed with features that focus more on home, office, workplace and office surveillance, etc. The biggest difference to other wireless cameras from UOVision is that HomeGuard uses WiFi networks to send photo and video instead of mobile network (GSM).
